We zijn ingesteld tegenwoordig om te denken dat alles wat oud is achterhaald is. Ik ben deze mening niet toegedaan en al helemaal niet met betrekking tot dans. Son Cubano Moderno (Son Moderno) is een evolutie van Son Traditional. Dat betekent helemaal niet dat de oude(re) Son afgeschreven is. Ik volg veel verschillende bootcamps/workshops Son Cubano, bij verschillende leraren. En elke keer blijkt weer dat er iets te leren of te ontdekken is. Mijn laatste workshop bij Cristian Mauricio toont dat ook weer. Als je de kans krijg neem vooral een workshop bij deze meester Sonero.

Son Cubano Moderno (Son Moderno) is an evolution of Son Traditional. That does not mean at all that the old(er) Son has been written off. I attend many different boot camps/workshops Son Cubano, with different teachers. And every time it turns out that there is something to learn or to discover. My last workshop with Cristian Mauricio shows this again. If you get the chance, take a workshop with this master Sonero.
